When the Tite Kubo’s Bleach novels were starting to take the world by storm, the Bleach anime began to pick up momentum. Bleach is about a bunch of high school students who are transformed into powerful fighting machines called “Bleach”. It starts off with the murder of his girlfriend, and the subsequent investigation that brings him there. With the help of a few friends, they are able to save the local town from a monster called “Gram”, who attacks the town. This makes the group very famous.
Bleach started out as an online manga series and one that I had been watching for a while. It was soon picked up by Funimation, and it has gone on to become one of their most popular shows ever. The show became popular in the United States and was re-done as a feature film, titled Bleach: The Britannia Chronicles. Bleach is probably my favorite anime series of all time. While the first season only had twelve episodes, the second season had eighteen episodes. It ended in 2021.
One of the things I really liked about Bleach is how realistic the story was. There were death scenes but very little gore. The main character, Raimon Shinigamaki, was very well written, and you could sense what he was feeling and thought throughout the series. Even though he was a master of magic, he still felt human, and that showed through the way he was acting.
One of the things I really enjoyed was the action sequences. There were explosions, and sword fights, and I got to watch Hyunda and Kuchiki Byakuya going toe to toe. The fighting scenes were intense and looked like professional wrestling. There were some battles between Byakuya and Ragnall, and I loved watching those.
One of the things I didn’t care for was how “girly” the girls were. It seemed like they were made to appeal to the boys. But actually, they were more on the “cute” side. I guess it was done to increase their popularity, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have their own personalities. They were very well drawn and had great facial expressions.
I don’t know if I cared about the ending of the series, but I wanted to hate it. I don’t even want to talk about it. I went back and watched the other episodes to see if I cared about what happened there. I don’t.
I feel like this was a good show. I liked the characters, and even liked the twists at the end. I just didn’t care for the ending. It just didn’t make me happy. I can understand people who find this kind of climax too much to take in, but toonami is clearly meant to be a fast moving, thrilling action show.
The other thing I will say about toonami climax is that it is incredibly dependent on its animation. The fights and climactic moments are some of the best to be seen on an animated screen. If you have ever seen an animated film that put me in the right frame of mind, then it is probably this one. No matter how many times you watch it, the experience is the same. It is amazing how well Toonami’s climax is made to look.
I should probably add that I wasn’t into this season’s climax, but it didn’t really affect me. Maybe it was the fact that the previous climax was so good that I didn’t want to get caught up in it again. After all, it is basically just the same as the previous one. It may as well have just been another episode. Toonami has proven that they know how to keep their shows interesting.
In terms of how long this series will last, it is safe to say that it will not go past the second season. I would be surprised if it makes it past the third, but it isn’t likely to. If you are looking for a good anime series that you can watch for a while, I would highly recommend this one. It will keep you guessing and will entertain you thoroughly.
Even though I wasn’t a big fan of the tsunami climax, I do believe that it is worth watching. The fight scenes are awesome, and there are many great characters in this show. If you have never watched this type of show before, I recommend giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed!
